Did You Know There Are Only Ten Companies?
This is the problem I was trying to get at in the earlier post.
Why do military wear the flag patch backwards? The backwards appearance is intentional and represents the American flag moving forward into battle rather than retreating. On military uniforms, the star field always faces forward to symbolize progress, courage, and advancing toward the mission. This placement creates the visual effect of the flag flying in the wind as the service member moves ahead. The reverse flag patch is commonly worn on the right shoulder of military uniforms according to official military regulations and traditions followed by the U.S. Armed Forces.
